Police are looking for a man that attempted to lure an 11 year old child into his vehicle. They have released a sketch of the man and ask anyone with information to call them.

Makeshift Skate Park Can Stay Open
Skateboarders at South Branch Park can continue skating while the Town Council looks to implement recommendations made by an insurance company after youths built several concrete structures at the park. The town engineer and insurance company for Sykesville gave mixed reviews as to what the future of the self-made structures
